Deep and Sincere Gratitude to You, Roger Whittaker. As a child, I would lie beneath the lowest branches of the Christmas tree and stare up through the glow while listening to your music. I may not fit under the tree anymore, but after I've tucked in my own children, I still lay down and try to capture that moment for myself. You have been endless inspiration for me. You were the first song I ever sang to my newborn son. We dance to you, and we always will. Thank you. With Love and Sympathy For the Whittaker Family and Friends

I remember listening to Roger Whitaker as a child in the 1970's and at certain times in my teens. My parents had some of his records. I loved his songs and know the words by heart to many of them....I send my condolences to Roger's family from Canada. I had a feeling he was going to pass away soon by instinct and knew that I would be sad, but would remember his music very fondly. The world has lost a very special "kind of man" indeed.

My condolences to Mr Whittaker's family. I've loved his music since the early 70's. We used to play his Christmas music every year as we decorated our family tree; now my daughter continues the tradition with her family. He was a true and exceptional artist and I enjoyed seeing him in concert in Tennessee. Many thanks to you, Mrs Whittaker, and your family for sharing him with the world. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
