Thanks RW for making my musical life so much richer with your songs. Saw you at a concert in the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen years ago. I still listen to your songs, and apart from your own wonderful songs, I often play your live version of Joni Mitchell's Both Sides Now on YouTube, finding it one of the best there is of this great song. Your music lives!

It is often said that a person's life is shaped by the events and experiences of their early years. Such was my case, introduced to Roger's music as a pre-teenager. I would thirst for his latest release, sing along to it on the radio or home stereo system, or often just sing it to myself. The lyrics spoke to me, and that rich voice would resonate in my whole being. I am who I am today thanks to Roger, and for that I will be eternally grateful. Rest in Peace Roger.

My beautiful mum died 3 years ago and the Last Farewell was sang at her funeral by a wonderful Irish singer. It was her favourite song and it would bring her so much peace. Thank you Roger for giving such beautiful songs that would take my mum out of the very mundane and hard life that she lived. Rest in peace! 💕✝️

Just decided to read up on Roger, whilst listening to Angel Radio. It got me thinking of him and his music and wondering where in the world he was. It was a bit of a shock to read of his recent passing. Loved his music, and of course his fantastic whistling. I used to listen to him as a youngster as my mother always had the radio on. He seemed like a decent and genuine chap. God bless you Roger, may you rest in peace. Condolences to the family.

My grandmother and mother were great fans of Roger and as it happened his concert was the first I attended. Fond childhood memories. Rest in peace, sir and thank you for the music!

I had Roger’s album I Will Always Love You, on when I suddenly came across news of his death , one year and 2 days later. Shocked, saddened, and feeling your loss with you. But love does last forever and he will always love you. You already know how much of an impact he had on this world in a positive way with that most amazing voice of all time. What a privilege it was to hear and see him in London, years ago. God bless you, family. Have peace and comfort in knowing he lives on in your hearts.

Mom bought me With Love when I was 8. What a beautiful voice! Warm and kind and strong. It felt like the embrace of good friend. And of all the bazillion Xmas songs in the world, Ding Dong Merrily on High is my all time favorite. Thank you Roger.

My wife and I were married in 1986 and both loved Roger’s music. One of his songs, no longer in production, was our wedding song I reached out to his staff several years ago and told them the story and they sent a copy of the song. That was above and beyond and we will always remember that along with his wonderful collection of music. We have his music on now as I write this Unfortunately, my computer crashed a few years ago and the song was lost again. I would love to have the opportunity to get a copy again. The song starts with, “touching you with my heart ……..” “hold me close”. It’s been 39 years and can’t remember the lyrics. I just remember it is a beautiful song. God rest your soul Roger, you brought a lot of joy to this couple and I am sure to many many more. I hope you are singing in Heaven now.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up listening to his music because my mom would put his albums on. I am 56 now and was like "I wonder if he is still touring?" Sadly I ran across your message of his passing. He will be missed.

From being a young child of 5-6, my parents used to play Roger's music on the car when we were travelling any distance. Almost 50 years on, and his songs are now in my playlists on Deezer than tapes, but I still listen with fondness at enjoy the memories I have when I hear them. Thank you for your music and may you rest in peace. My condolences to Rogers family.

I'm looking thru the streaming channel, Tubi tonight and I see a Roger Whittaker concert among its listings... I decide to do some research on Roger while I listen to the music... I truly didn't know he had passed away this past September until I was looking at his entry on wikipedia today. I first discovered The Last Farewell in the 80s on a AC radio station... The station played a few of his songs regularly... I eventually got some of his CDs and still play them in my own regular rotation. My heart goes out to Roger's family and friends in mourning his passing. Thank-you Roger for giving all of us A New World in the Morning! Anthony
