Ich durfte Roger Whittaker auf der Bühne erleben und war von seiner Musik fasziniert und liebe sie noch heute. Viele seiner Lieder haben für mich eine ganz persönliche Bedeutung. Er wird unvergessen bleiben.

I was saddened to learn that Roger Whitaker had passed away. Many of his songs are evergreens today. I wish the family a lot of strength in their time of grief. Roger Whitaker will not be forgotten and will live on in his songs and in people's hearts.

English Translation for Wendy's Comment Below: Roger's music has accompanied me for almost 47 years. I got through a lot of things with his music. Met him in person several times. He was always like a grandpa figure to me. The world will miss him and his music. Thank you Roger for everything you have given us.

In fast 47 Jahren hat mich Rogers Musik begleitet. Vieles hab ich mit seiner Musik überstanden. Ihn mehrmals persönlich getroffen. Er war immer wie eine Opafigur für mich. Die Welt wird ihn und seine Musik vermissen. Danke Roger für alles was du uns gegeben hast.
