I'm so sorry to hear of Roger's passing. I remember him from when he was a teacher at Nairobi Primary School where I was a pupil, and I did meet up with him when he played in my home town in Reading UK many years later. Thanks for the music. R.I.P. Roger.

I feel so sad to read of Roger Whittaker's passing. When I was in my last year at primary school in London, our class was invited to appear in a television programme called 'Zingalong'. Each week, a different primary school class appeared with a singer, and they sang songs together. We went there to record two episodes, and the singer that week was Roger Whittaker. He was such a kind and friendly man; a true gentleman. He made us feel so welcome, and I've never forgotten it, even though it was more than fifty years ago. May he rest in peace.

My dad used to play his music in the car every time we went to our summerhouse in the weekend in the 1970-90. Now I play it for my kids the same way. Great memories! When my dad died in 2018 he wanted to listened to Rogers music for his last 2 days before cancer took him. Thanks for your songs and whistles. RIP.
