Sincere sympathy to Roger's family on the sad passing of a wonderful family man who gave selflessly to his community. We have very happy memories of his years in Eyrecourt where he was a very generous neighbour to our small National school. May he now rest in peace.

We saw him in Pensacola Fl twice and we just fell in love with his music. He will all ways be remembered as one of the greatest singers. Our prayers are with you and now the heavenly choir has a new member.

My condolences to the family. Those of us who listened to his music feel a sadness that he is gone; however, he left a legacy with his songs and music that will live on!

My dad used to play Roger on vinyl records and we always sang along. Or even whistled (as well as we could). His Christmas music is especially special to us. We'll miss you, Roger.

The wonderful Roger Whittaker has sadly left us. What a voice! Absolutely gorgeous tone. He seemed such a lovely man too. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent many years ago. I have many of his records and CDs and play them often. He was without doubt one of the finest singers in the world and I mourn his loss. Sincere condolences to his family. RIP Roger, a truly great man!
