I cannot listen to Mr. Whittaker's recording of White Christmas without dissolving into tears. Beautiful arrangements on all of his albums. A gifted man. How blessed we are that his music will always be wish us, even while he raises his voice in eternity. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was fortunate enough to meet Roger a couple of times. His mantra - "We should live without hate" - inspired me to be a better person. The world is a lesser place without him in it; his music made an indelible impact on me.

May Roger Whittaker always rest in eternal heavenly peace with all the Angels and Saints in heaven forever. May Roger's widow and children receive comfort, solace, peace and strength from their family, friends and world-wide fans. Roger Whittaker was an excellent entertainer and country/folk singer who will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

Wonderful, forever beautiful music I listened for hours. I enjoyed his songs since the early 70s, pure and enjoyable songs. May he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus. Forever in our hearts dear Roger Whittaker.

As soon as I heard The Last Farewell, I was instantly drawn to Roger. I've bought every album of his that I could find. I likely own at least 50. I had the pleasure of seeing him in concert at least 8 times, and met him backstage once. He seemed most genuine and easy going. Thank-you, Roger, for about 50 years of the best music one could ask for, and for years of enjoyment still to come. I hope that the memories we share in the guestbook provide his family some comfort in this time of sorrow.

What a wonderful voice and person. Had the privilege of seeing him in concert in Houston. He could make any song his own. My favorite was Newport Belle. May God embrace you, my friend. Peace and comfort to your family.

I’m so sad to hear of Roger’s passing. He was my favorite singer/entertainer. Every time he was within driving distance we’d go to his shows and take the kids. I own all of his CDs. My condolences to Natalie and the children. Rip Roger Whittaker! ❤️

Saw Roger in concert in the 80s, and have been collecting his wonderful albums ever since. He was an amazing whistler, musician and composer- and most important, a first rate human being. With the loss of Bennett, Belafonte and now Roger, this has been a devastating year for music fans. God bless you, Roger-your music will last forever!

Roger was a most favorite singer/songwriter of mine. Singing along with his songs played on my 33 rpm record player was an inspiring activity for many years. I was fortunate to see Roger live in concert a couple times: in 1980, in Los Angeles, CA and a number of years later in my then hometown of Tucson, AZ. When in Los Angeles, circumstances occurred which ended up in my being able to meet Roger and have dinner with him and his Los Angeles agent among others. I came away from that occasion seeing that Roger was a genuine, humble man with a love for people. My favorite songs are the folk songs he sang along with Durham Town and New World in the Morning. Roger's songs will continue to go with me wherever I go. His loss is ours also, but he lives on in our hearts through his songs!
