I’m so sorry to hear the news of his passing! As a child growing up in Kenya and Malawi, I have been a fan since childhood. Enjoyed concerts in Copenhagen as well as in Tennessee and listen to his artistry often. You’ll be missed Roger!

Wonderful music goes straight to ones heart. Listen to his music very often. Met him personally at SAS Royal Hotel in Stavanger -he had concert in Stavanger and was a guest at this hotel were I worked in reception at the time. Also I came to a concert he had in 1973 in wintertime in Stavanger- I came together with my mother at this concert. So sad to read he has died. RIP. My condolences to his family .

My first memory of Roger Whitaker was the last farewell. I have followed his music and loved it for 50 years I still listen, and I still love it he will be greatly missed my deepest sympathy to his family.
