I’m so very sad as is my son who is 21 years of age. I was raised listening to Roger’s Christmas Album. In turn, I raised my son listening to the same. It would not be Christmas without hearing Roger’s voice. RIP.

Traurig, sehr sehr traurig, wieder hat ein großartiger Sänger, Musiker und Gentleman diese Welt verlassen. Seine Lieder und seine Musik werden weiter leben. Ich wünsche seiner Frau Natalie und seinen Angehörigen viel Kraft zu diesen großen Verlust.

Such sad news to hear of Mr Whittaker's passing, he seemed such a gentle, kind, man, and that came through in the nature and timbre of his music. I remember as a child his music being on in the house, such a comforting sound. RIP Mr Whittaker, and thank you for bringing such joy to so many people across the world.

I grew up hearing Roger's music, as my dad had some of his records. Roger had such a rich voice, and he was the best whistler that I ever heard. My condolences to his family.

I’m so sorry to hear the news of his passing! As a child growing up in Kenya and Malawi, I have been a fan since childhood. Enjoyed concerts in Copenhagen as well as in Tennessee and listen to his artistry often. You’ll be missed Roger!
